Orbital ATK is currently seeking anAssociate Product Plannerto provide planning support for our Orbital ATK Design Group in our Launch Vehicle Division in Chandler, AZ. Job Description:

Coordinates purchase requisitions and manufacturing orders based on program/manufacturing needs and existing inventory. Coordinates with other departments to ensure appropriate routing, scheduling, and availability of components, assemblies and all materials necessary to support the bill of material and program requirements;Plan, issue and control material demands in order to meet production scheduling requirementsAdvise management of status of work in process, material availability and potential production problems to ensure that materials are available as neededParticipate in interdepartmental meetings with Program Management, Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Receiving and StockroomCoordinate material movement between stockroom and production areasCreate Procurement Requisitions and Manufacturing OrdersControls excess, insufficient, or deficient materials. This may require working with, Engineering, Program Managers, Buyers, or Quality EngineersProvides input, based on materials availability, to the Master Scheduler

Qualifications: One to two years of related manufacturing experienceStrong verbal and written communication skills, and attention to details

Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Technical skills required; Excel, Power point, and WordKnowledge of Orbital ATK Design Group hardware, a plus

Experience with Costpoint/Deltek, a plus
