Orbital ATK is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Materials Control Analyst in our Chandler, AZ office.

Detail oriented person with strong technical background needed to perform factory product support and field support for GQM-163A. Candidate must be familiar with Orbital ATK work package structure and quality processes. Familiarity with drawings and documentation systems is required. Candidate must be able to contribute independently, and as a member of high-performance Field teams. Must be able to manage, and update inventory data, cross-referencing information from multiple sources to maintain a consistent materials log. Close attention to detailed data tracking and entry is essential to ensure materials are positioned where they are needed to manage work at remote sites. Candidate must be able to travel to Field sites a minimum of two weeks each quarter and possibly at a higher rate during Field campaigns.

Duties of this position include:

  • Take information from multiple sources - drawings, inventories, Government Property lists, Bills of Material, and Costpoint – to define material required to support a Field operation, initiate procurement processes, and issue materials to the operation.

  • Track movement of flight hardware to and from Field sites, monitoring test equipment certifications and Spares requirements.

  • Perform Field inventories, update tracking data, identify shortages, and initiate replenishments.

  • Update flight hardware databases and inventory tracking spreadsheets.

  • Prepare internal and Navy customer reports.

  • Identify required Field WPs and issue to launch operations.

  • Assist with disposition of residual government material post-production and at contract closeout.

  • Prepare supporting material for meetings and participate in customer meetings. Gather information needed to close government action items.

  • Identify additional materials or equipment required at operational sites to improve process flow.

  • Identify GSE additions to Field equipment catalog, updated catalog as needed.

  • Assist with development of training materials for new Field support personnel.

Position requires a AA or B.S. Technical degree, and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a technological field . Candidate must have a working knowledge of drawing systems, Bill of Material, and basic Costpoint skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office tool s: Word, Excel, and Powerpoint is required. Familiarity with MatLab and Visio is a plus, but not required.

Travel 10-25% of assignment.

Must pass physical for Field Support (Ordnance Intermediate Training-Work on around Ordnance)
